Committed to the Cause
I’ve been in Stillwater since 2002 and love it here. I am married to Hunter Robinson we have an 18 month old, Harper and two big kids, Tanner and Makenzie. I am the agent/owner of Candace Robinson- Farmers Insurance in Stillwater. We like to play golf, watch movies at home and spend time on the patio. I love JSL because I feel like I am more in tune with the needs of the area, which helps me think of others more frequently. It helps me get out of myself and I like that.
I am from Hollis, a tiny one stoplight town in SW Oklahoma. I am a graduate of SWOSU in Business/Marketing. I also have a masters degree in Journalism/Public Relations from OSU. I am currently employed as a Human Resource Generalist for the City of Stillwater.I have been married to my husband Jason for 9 years and we reside in Perkins. We don't have kiddos yet and are looking into adoption. This is my provisional year and I am excited for the opportunity to serve in JSL. I am especially excited for Operation Christmas!
My husband Matthew and I are originally from Utah, but met for the first time across the country in Connecticut. In November, we celebrated three years of marriage!
We moved to Stillwater in 2017 so Matthew could pursue his graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Oklahoma State University! We quickly became Cowboy fans and fell in love with the community. He’ll graduate in August with his Master’s degree and plans to pursue his PhD at OSU.
I work for Central Electric Cooperative as a Digital Marketing Specialist and have loved the opportunity to engage with the community in so many facets.
I have a passion for community involvement, so I jumped at the opportunity to join JSL in 2018. I am grateful for the service opportunities and tender experiences JSL provides. I’m in awe of the women I get to work with and can only aspire to be like them.
I am originally from Atlanta, GA. I moved to Stillwater about three years ago to work in Residence Life and now am an Academic Advisor for the College of Education, Health and Aviation. Besides being a part of JSL, my husband and I run a ‘Little Free Library’ in our front yard and we just became foster parents. I am also an advisor for Student Council within my college, the advisor of the Water Polo Club, and the advisor to a service sorority here on campus. My husband and I met the first day that I moved to Oklahoma. We began dating and just recently got married on June 30, 2018! It was such a beautiful day, and that is where our picture comes from!
I am originally from Norman, OK but corrected my course and attended Oklahoma State where I graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, minor in vocal performance. From Stillwater, I traveled the country and lived many places as I worked as an IT consultant for several companies.
In 2003, while living in Connecticut, I met and fell in love with my sweetie, Jason. We got married in 2006 and had our first son in 2007. We have two boys, David (6th grade), and JJ (Kindergarten), who inspire me to be a better person every day. As fate would have it my husband became a professor at OSU in 2013. No one is more surprised that I returned to Stillwater than me, but it has been wonderful to reconnect with old friends and make many ones. One of the blessings in my life is that my job has traveled with me and I’ve been able to telecommute for the last 11 years.
I’m grateful to be part of JSL. In my first year I’ve repeatedly been astounded at what can be accomplished for a community with a few like-minded women. The fact that these women are wonderful people and that my children get to participate and see the example they set for service in your community is a blessing in my life without measure. I look forward to my opportunity to serve and be present in the lives of others.
I have been married to my husband, Brett, for eight years and we have two sons. Brooks is in first grade at Sangre Ridge Elementary and Kolton is in the Preschool class at the Methodist Church, where I teach part-time in the Preschool Plus room. We moved to Stillwater in August of last year from Tuscaloosa, AL, after my husband accepted a position with the OSU Foundation where he serves as the Senior Director of Development for the College of Human Sciences. I am a graduate of Auburn University and Western Kentucky University and enjoy sports, especially college athletics, spending time with my family and our two dogs, Bella and Bailey, and traveling! War Eagle! I am so excited about beginning my Junior League journey this year with such an amazing group of women and having the opportunity to serve and learn more about the Stillwater community. I am in awe of the faithful commitment that the women of the Stillwater JSL have for their community and look forward to, hopefully, impacting Stillwater in a positive way. We are so happy to call Stillwater home! Go Pokes!
I am originally from Torrington, WY. I came to OSU for both my Masters and Bachelor degrees. My husband and I have lived in the greater Stillwater area (permanently) since 2013. I am the Regional Marketing Manager and Partners in Performance Director at BioZyme, Inc based out of St Joseph, MO. My husband and I also own and operate Fitz Genetics, a purebred Cattle operation. I’ve been married to my husband Nick for 3 years and we have a 4 month old son named Lander. My passion lies within the agricultural industry where my husband and I are heavily involved. I joined JSL this year in 2018 and am looking forward to serving our community alongside an incredible group of women. In addition to JSL I am heavily involved in numerous livestock and agricultural organizations.
I have lived in Stillwater for 16 years and currently run the Mother’s Day Out program at Stillwater Bible Church. My husband, Garrett, and I have been married since 2011 and have 3 beautiful babies. Greenlee who just turned 6, Preston who is about to turn 4, and Havlynn who joined our family in January.
I absolutely love Stillwater and the people who make up our community. To be a part of Junior Service League and to be able to help the people in our community and surrounding areas who need it the most is something I am so proud to be a part of!
